This exciting promo, which began on January 2, was officially celebrated on June 4 at the newly opened SM City Caloocan with a vibrant Kabayan Tuesday Mall Show featuring BDO Remit brand ambassador Piolo Pascual.

Honda Ph marks 10-millionth motorcycle unit sales

Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, recently achieved a major milestone by hitting the 10-millionth motorcycle unit sales mark.

The 10-millionth unit sold was the Click125, marking a historic accomplishment that makes Honda the only brand to date to achieve this success.

To celebrate this milestone, a commemorative Click125 model with a special 10M sticker was introduced at a sendoff ceremony hosted by the company.

Palawan and Pay&Go’s partnership

The Palawan Group of Companies has partnered with Pay&Go, the 24-hour self-service payments kiosks, which allow consumers to conveniently pay their bills and top up their mobile phones and e-wallets, in real time.

Users of PalawanPay, the digital wallet of Palawan Group of Companies, can now conveniently cash-in their accounts by using any of Pay&Go over 2,000 kiosks nationwide.

GHL, Alipay+ facilitate cross-border digital payments

GHL Systems Philippines Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of GHL Systems Berhad, has enabled Alipay+ for local businesses in the country to accept cross-border digital face-to-face and e-commerce payments from leading Asian mobile wallets.

This integration allows merchants to seamlessly accept cross-border digital payments from prominent Asian mobile wallets, including AlipayHK (Hong Kong SAR), Kakao Pay (South Korea), Touch ‘n Go eWallet (Malaysia), and Alipay (Chinese mainland), which represent the top inbound travelers to the Philippines.

Travelers from these regions can now conveniently utilise their local mobile wallets to make payments in the Philippines at even more merchants, offering a diverse range of payment options beyond cash or foreign-issued credit or debit cards.

Through this partnership with Alipay+, the cross-border mobile payment and digitalization technology solutions operated by Ant International, travelers visiting the Philippines can now utilise their home e-wallets at retail outlets powered by GHL. This partnership aims to enhance the payment experience for travelers while benefiting a wide array of local businesses spanning retail, food and beverage, hospitality, and attractions nationwide.

Shopee launches Future Operations Leader Program

Shopee Philippines recently opened applications to the Future Operations Leader Program (FLP), its newest graduate program that provides on-ground cross-functional work experiences to fresh graduates and young professionals.

Designed to develop the skills and potential of aspiring operations innovators, effective communicators, solution-centered thinkers, and resilient future leaders, the Future Operations Leader Program aims to nurture the next generation of operational leaders through hands-on training to understand e-commerce logistics and fulfillment fully,” said Karen Perez, head of HR Center for Excellence at Shopee Philippines.

Recent graduates and young professionals with three years of experience or less are eligible to apply to the two-year FLP. For a holistic immersion in the e-commerce operations process, FLP associates will be given ownership of operations targets and meaningful projects and experience on-ground rotations in the warehouse, sorting center, and hubs nationwide. They are also assigned a manager, buddy, and mentor to help guide them throughout their professional journey at Shopee.

To join the FLP program, applicants must go through a four-step process that starts with an online assessment and continues through a series of interviews. Mobility and the capacity to be assigned to different locations across the country are required among applicants.
