Seeing the Devil is Scary! This was one really well written story! Not only did it have a very clever, well crafted plot, it had very believable characters who were easy to like and to root for as you follow their adventures. The writing was lean. Very streamlined. That made it a fast, fun read. I am ready for a sequel, please.
ps: One tiny criticism. It seemed like there were quite a few stupid typo and other dumb editing mistakes that had nothing to do with the actual writing. This might be a problem with the Kindle edition or a lousy editor. I have noticed this with other kindle books and it really ruins the flow of reading. As an author, you deserve better, Mr Seiple. As a reader, I certainly deserve better as well.
It Was Ok I usually love every book I read but this one I just didn't care for. I was actually very bored ready it. I finished it because no book should go unfinished. But it just had nothing special in my opinion. And I have been reading horror and supernatural books for about 40 years now. This was neither scary, gripping or edge of your seat kind of book. Best way to put it is, it was just flat. Again just my opinion and others may like it.
Very unusual I would recommend this story to someone who is looking for something really different in a scary story. This is a real head scratcher that will leaving you wondering. (Do bogymen ever really die?) Read and enjoy.
Total rip off of every slasher story ever made.
