Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear
EPECo specializes in providing custom medium and low voltage switchgear for paralleling, standby and emergency power generators and other power delivery systems. Complete system and generator protection is included. Indoor and outdoor configurations are built that include fixed, drawout, rollout, insulated case or vacuum breakers. We provide power components from all the major device manufacturers for applications up to 36 kV. EPECo’s switchgear has been selected and installed in nuclear power plants where additional seismic design, documentation, testing and traceability of components is required.
Switchgear Controls
Our engineers and technical staff utilize the latest technologies to provide flexible and reliable switchgear. Our switchgear solutions often are combined with generator set controls to provide complete package single source solutions. Our experience extends to retrofit configurations where our customers desire to maintain standardization and proven reliability. Complete protective relaying solutions can be included using the latest multifunction relays that provide cost savings. Only switchgear grade industrial components are used. Touch screen technology can be included to provide detailed windows into the control functions and metering common to modern switchgear design.
Medium Voltage Transfer Switches
The EPECo medium voltage transfer switches are designed for applications in the industrial market with demanding service and nasty environments. We adapt standard transfer switches to unique customer applications where more complex control is required or where special environmental conditions require standard product modification. When transfer switches require special bus configurations, operation in hazardous locations or other special application needs, EPECo can provide a solution.
